My Speech About Why I Stand Against Homelessness

Why I Stand Against  Homelessness

Intro :

Homelessness is a big problem in NZ and this is why I think things need to change!

    What's the problem

This should not be happening A car is not a real home , the streets  are not a real home ,  neither is a garage . But at the moment it is for some , especially in Auckland  . Adults and especially kids deserve a home ,  also they deserve a   nice sleep where they don't get woken up because they're cold or people walking past telling you to get a job when you can't .  When you're driving with your parents , every house with a garage  you drive past has a 10% chance it has a family leaving inside .

Why this should stop

Children need to go to school and with them sleeping in a car or a cold garage could affect their learning in so  many ways such as not getting enough sleep and can't study because there is no lights .
Also if this keeps up then children won't get a good education   and if they don't get a good education then they can't  get a good job and  earn enough for there family  and  themselves.

All the same .
You ( point ) ,  you (point ) even myself , We are no different  Because we are all human beings and we all have families that love us and care for as and even put roofs over our heads  . All people has roof over the family and themselves  but those roofs may have  cracks or just keeping trying to keep the path way to stay dry when it rains .

Conclusion:

Just think about what it would be like if NZ had no homeless  and  everyone had a warm home and fresh food . To all the kids, be grateful for what you get and thank your parents for putting a  roof over your head. Thank you for listening to my speech and remember to be grateful in all  that you get . Homelessness needs to end in NZ and we can all play a part.

My 100 word challenge

One unusual day I was just reading my book next to this statue that was still like a frozen sloth ... Well that's what I thought. While I was waiting for my bus I heard my name been called “Tait”I just presumed that I was hearing things. “Tait ?” I looked around. Nothing. I thought I was going crazy. Then I heard it again... But this time it was louder, and it was said with a little giggle. I looked at the statue. its face looked familiar. It was my silly dad .Doing one of his silly little pranks . The End
